The truly magnificent ‘Perspectives’ was commissioned by Surrey Hills Arts and The Mittal Foundation as a series of pieces of art to highlight the stunning Surrey countryside. Designed by Giles Miller Studios, the natural shape of the organic pavilion progressively blends into the Surrey Hills in front of a beautiful vista.
Digitally fabricated cedar shingles were CNC routed. Selections of these shingles were also laser engraved with personal messages from local residents and pupils, covering the engineered steel framework. We look forward to seeing how the beautiful installation weathers into its environment.
