An innovative and immersive light, colour and movement experience. Allowing visitors to change the whole ambience of the 24 ft walkway, by simply presenting a swatch to a camera. This makes the 66 wall fixtures, containing advanced LED technology, erupt into a radiance of colour matching the specific pallet put in front of the camera.
The project was developed with Waldemeyer’s studio who are driven by playful experimentation, developed through forging links between technology, art, fashion and design.
The installation was digitally fabricated using CNC technology and meticulously hand finished. The seamlessly laminated blocks of Hanex Solid Surface are engineered to house the interactive lighting units, the smooth tactile forms create a contrast to the array of colours cast by the concealed LEDs.
